Crisis Counseling
When someone is experiencing the immediate aftermath of sexual assault, they need someone to listen, believe, and offer support. Your donation helps us provide 24/7 crisis counseling services that offer a lifeline in times of need.
Ongoing Victim Advocacy
Our victim advocate services offer compassionate support and guidance to those traumatized by sexual violence. Our advocates are trained to provide quick assistance, connect survivors with necessary resources, and help navigate the legal and emotional challenges that follow these traumatic events. We are committed to empowering survivors and ensuring they have the support they need to heal and rebuild their lives.
Counseling Services
Healing from sexual assault is a long journey. Your donation helps fund ongoing counseling training for our staff and easy access to ongoing counseling sessions that provide survivors with the tools they need to rebuild their lives and find strength.
Housing Support
For many survivors, finding a safe place to call home is a priority. Your donation helps us provide rent assistance, housing support, and safe haven shelter. Ensuring safe housing options for survivors of abuse or assault helps provide the peace of mind necessary for a successful healing journey.
Combating Human Trafficking
Human trafficking is a heinous crime that exploits vulnerable individuals for labor or sexual exploitation. At CAASA, we are committed to combating this issue by rescuing and empowering survivors. We provide essential services, raise awareness, advocate for policy change, and collaborate with law enforcement to dismantle human trafficking networks. Your support helps us rescue victims, provide healing, and prevent future exploitation right here in Iowa.
Prevention Education
The best way to prevent sexual abuse, assault, and harassment is to educate our communities. Your donation helps us continually evolve and implement sexual abuse, sexual assault, and sexual harassment training programs for schools, businesses, organizations, and individuals. Our education programs work to empower people to recognize and prevent harmful behaviors.
Your donation is more than just a financial contribution; it's a statement of solidarity and compassion. It sends a message to survivors that they are not alone and that there is hope for healing. By supporting CAASA, you are working to help people in your local community and make our state safer for everyone.
