A Message from Our Executive Director

Looking Ahead to a Stronger 2026

As we begin 2026, I am filled with hope, pride, and gratitude for the work CAASA is doing across Northwest Iowa.

This year, we are focused on growth, rebuilding, and strengthening the care we provide to survivors and communities. We now have more active Sexual Assault Response Teams across our 19 counties than ever before. These teams play a critical role in ensuring survivors receive coordinated, compassionate, and trauma-informed responses.

We are also seeing stronger collaboration throughout our service area. Relationships continue to grow with law enforcement, hospitals, prosecutors, colleges, and community partners. These collaborations improve communication, build trust, and allow CAASA to respond more effectively to the needs of survivors.

Education and prevention remain a priority. CAASA is now working with colleges and universities across all 19 counties, helping increase awareness, expand prevention efforts, and support safer campuses and communities for the future.

As we move forward in 2026, CAASA remains committed to investing in training, strengthening programs, and expanding services to meet the evolving needs of our region. None of this work would be possible without the continued support of our donors, volunteers, partners, and community members.

Thank you for standing with survivors and for believing in CAASA’s mission. We are deeply grateful for your ongoing support and look forward to the year ahead.

Sincerely,
