Gridshock

🎥 Gridshock Documentary & Community Panel

CAASA purchased the license to the powerful documentary Gridshock, which exposes the hidden reality of sex trafficking in Iowa.

The film features interviews with survivors, law enforcement, buyers, advocates, and politicians to explore and expose the often-overlooked reality of sex trafficking in our state. Trafficking is not just a large city issue it is happening in rural communities, including ours.

We hosted a screening on February 26th from 6:00–8:00 PM at Spencer Hospital in the Maple and Oak Conference Rooms (Lower Level), followed by a community resource panel. The event is full, showing just how much our community cares about prevention and awareness.
