Sexual Assault Awareness Month | Standing Together for Survivors
A Message from the Executive Director
April is a powerful and deeply meaningful month for all of us at CAASA. Sexual Assault Awareness Month is not only a time to raise awareness it is a time to stand together, to listen, and to remind every survivor that they are seen, heard, and believed.
Every day, we work alongside individuals who have experienced unimaginable trauma. Their strength is incredible, and their stories matter. At the heart of our work is one simple but powerful message: we believe survivors.
But this work cannot be done alone. It takes a community people willing to speak up, to show support, and to take action. Whether it’s wearing teal, attending an event, sharing resources, or simply starting a conversation, every effort makes a difference.
This April, I invite you to join us. Help us spread awareness across Northwest Iowa. Help us create safe, supportive spaces. Help us show survivors that they are not alone.
Together, we can build a community that stands strong, speaks out, and supports survivors every single day.
With gratitude,
Stephanie Henrich
Executive Director, CAASA
